1) THE TECHNOLOGY OF THE COMPEX CYCLE MACHINE
At present there is no refrigeration and air conditioning technology, that can be called 'environmental friendly'. In fact, the present technology is basically the same as it was 50 years ago. The only innovations that happened are more sophisticated materials and manufacturing methods.
Present developments in the field do not affect the technology as such but only the development of new chemical substances to replace ozone-depleting CFCs. These chemicals are still ozone-depleting to some degree and act as greenhouse gases as well, whilst some are either toxic and/or flammable.
These and future chemicals can therefore not be considered to give a final solution; a new technology is required. The polytropic COMPEX cycle is the basis for such a new technology.
Moreover, in recent years I studied and analyzed certain experiments, done by nobody less than James Watt, around 230 years ago. They showed me the way to a new, high-efficient energy conversion method, using saturated and wet steam - supertropic expansion, something the engineering world missed, after Watt's 'forgotten' experiments.
It is not only steam, but the physics of this applies on all wet and saturated vapors, such as refrigerants. Therefore the machine can work below ambient temperature ... do I have to say more?
The according technology I do have basic designs of, but further R&D is needed. I'm looking for a developer, who would hire me as a consulting engineer for this.
2) THE TECHNOLOGY OF THE LINEAR CRANKSHAFT AND ACTUATOR
The conventional pendular crankshaft, being of the same design now as it was for over 200 years ago and still being the prevailing and only power transmission method in piston engines, causes considerable vibrations and wear, by oscillating masses and generating side forces on the piston.
In a normal combustion engine, the crank mechanism alone stands for 20% of the fuel consumption! For these reasons, rotating piston machines, such as f.ex. the Rotary Vane and the Wankel, have been developed, but for higher loads, like in a combustion engine, they cannot compete with the sealing potential of a reciprocating circular(!) piston.
Many inventors have tried to find another way of power transmission, but their inventions failed because they could not omit sliding components, causing excessive friction at other locations. This is why such designs never became commercial - except for the cross-head in high-load, low speed engines (ship-diesels).
My linear crankshaft design actually eliminates side forces on the piston, by using rotating elements only, that generate a linear motion and without introducing additional friction with sliding components elsewhere.
If you like to renovate motor cycle engines, you may have a nice hobby at hand here and who knows, perhaps make your fortune with it ...
3) THE TECHNOLOGY OF INDESTRUCTIBLE HULLS FOR SUBMARINE VESSELS

In conventional submarines, the hulls are designed to resist the total buckling force of the water pressure that acts upon them. If this force gets too high, the hull will be distorted and collapses.
I developed a design, by which the total force on the hull can be ignored in respect to distortion. The design idea is to convert bending and buckling tensions in the structure, into compressive ones.
The resistance of such a hull no longer depends on its shape; a straight cylinder becomes just as resistant as a sphere. A hull designed according to this principle can resist the water pressure prevailing at the deepest grounds on Earth, i.c. 11 km (36,000 ft), without becoming unhandable, too heavy and too expensive.

With this technology it would be possible to send expeditions to the deepest depths of the oceans, in accommodations where scientists can live and work under longer periods of time. This invention does not come too late; it always will have a potential market (not in the least the military one - you won't easily destroy this thing with a bomb .. or at all).
